So You Think You Can Dance, 8 p.m., Fox

While it is certainly true that Travis Wall was an awesome contestant, and is today an awesome choreographer, he did not, last week, make an awesome judge. Velvet jacket and bow tie notwithstanding. I am fine with the elimination of Chris and Ashley last week – although I did love her legs – as I believe Melanie continues her march towards victory.

Hot In Cleveland, 10 p.m., TVLand

Not as LOL-funny as last year’s season, but still resonating on several levels with me. Loved the Get Me A Date For My Fake Birthday episode, which was Hot at its best. This season feels slightly contrived to me, not as organic as it has been, maybe since they are really no longer transplants and now actual Cleveland-ites … still better than reruns of anything else.
