Snowstorm Means Sledding!

Cold Temps No Match For Warm Jackets, Gloves, Hats and Scarves

People in New London County bundled up and braved the cold temperatures and strong winds to try out their new sleds in Monday's pure driven snow. Watch the video and see the best sledding hills around.

That was my Nephew, brother inlaw(s) and son......."the whole tabogan experience" what an experience it has been! How are you feeling to day John????

What an awesome video! We were preparing for up to 6 inches here in Ellicott City, Md. We wound up with maaaaybe a quarter of an inch. I'm not complaining, but I'm sure some people would have liked to have taken their sleds out for a ride. :)

Looked like a fun time had by all, esp the ride down the hill on video. Good job!

We used to sled at Lyman Allyn when I was a kid, before all the big highway onramps surrounded it. Everyone in New London used to sled there! The video really brought me back. And I love the Montville man and his son, playing and sledding and not caring at all how cold or windy it is.

How nice of the news girl to go along with them for a ride down the hill. Happy sledding.
