Sea-Legs, Inc. has announced that John S. Johnson, OpSail 2012CT chairman, will serve as the celebrity guest at the Third Annual Sea-Legs Celebrity Night.
According to the press release, Johnson will share an "Inside OpSail" presentation, explaining the annual event, and will also answer audience questions.
The fundraising gala will support Sea-Legs, an organization founded by Captain Richard Lathrop, which, according to the press release, "offers boating experience to those boys and girls who, because of their circumstances, may not have access to the water."
The gala will be held on Thursday, April 26 at the Mystic Aquarium and all proceeds benefit Sea-Legs. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door, and includes appetizers and access to the Aquarium's inside exhibits. Maritime watercolors will be sold at the event.
