Seth Bendfelt took this 15-minute video of the Asphalt Orchestra performing on to provide a little entertainment before the snapshot was taken. The 12-piece street band plays a few songs and nicely demonstrates one of the personalities the group's website claims to have: "outdoor guerrilla musical force."
Part of the fun of the Big Picture is always looking at the result and seeing who you can pick out. New London is pretty tight-knit, and no doubt you'll recognize a lot of people in this video. The kids seem to be a class from the , and you can see Conn College's camel mascot as well as some performers from The Nutcracker. Jack Chaplin of gets a brief spotlight at the 8:06 mark.
