New London Tube: A Connecticut Sun Visit To New London
WNBA team volunteers for second year at the Community Meal Center
For the second year, a local WNBA came to the Community Meal Center in New London to lend a helping hand.
This video shows the Connecticut Sun, whose home arena is at Mohegan Sun, helping to prepare a meal, serve the food, and clean up afterward. The team also came to the site in 2012.
The video was posted on the Connecticut Sun's official channel. According to the description, Mohegan Sun donated the meal and the team's staff and coaches also took part in the volunteer effort.
The Sun have won four of 10 games played so far. Their next competition will take place against Atlanta at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
