New London Makes List of Top 10 Favorite Towns
The statewide contest asked fans to vote for the best CT town that is still revolutionary.
Niantic may have taken the cake in the second annual Connecticut Fan-Favorite still revolutionary Town of the Year but New London wasn’t far behind. Connecticut’s Whaling City placed 9th – that’s not last – in the top 10 fan favorite towns!
A press release issued by the CT Tourism says, “The socially-driven Connecticut Fan-Favorite: Town program asked people to vote for the Connecticut town that they believe most embodies the spirit of the state's brand, still revolutionary – by being a home for original ideas, inspiration and innovation. Nearly 10,000 votes were cast over a four-week period.”
