New London Challenge: Williams Park Remembers

Last week's answer:

The "Junior Fashion" billboard advertisement is on the back of the Cronin Building on State Street. The building once held John Irving Shoes, and the facade still bears the logo of Kaye's Men's Shop, which was on State Street from 1936 to 1965.

Kaye's was named for Robert Gerald Kaye, who ran the store. He was the son of Abraham L. Kirshenbaum, who started the Juvenile Shoppe on State Street in 1924 to sell clothing and toys. Kaye later ran this store and continued to do so until his retirement in 1970. The Juvenile Shoppe closed in 1977.

This week's question:

The memories of two groups and three individuals are honored at Williams Park. Who are they?
