Input Sought On Community Center Survey

New London residents asked to fill out questionnaire on ideas for proposed center

New London residents are invited to fill out a survey on their ideas for a proposed community center.

The New London Community Center Collaborative, a group exploring the creation of a central multi-purpose facility, has . A request for $4 million has been made to the Connecticut General Assembly, and this sum would be matched by community partners. The city has not had a community center since the closing of the YMCA in 1981.

Responses from the survey will be sent to BH&A Architecture and Ballard King & Associates, consulting firms who are conducting a feasibility study on the center.
