NL (heart) USCG Wrap-up Reception

The New London-based City Center District (CCD) will wrap up their “NL (heart) USCG” campaign on Sunday, February 12, 2012 with a reception and Valentine’s Day Card writing event at Union Station from 12 pm – 1 pm. New London residents who may have missed the opportunity to sign a card earlier in the campaign can add their voice to the hundreds of cards already collected. 

The event will include special appearances by Fiona from the movie/musical Shrek, currently playing at the Garde Theater; a performance by the Connecticut College Conn Chords all-female a capella singing group, and opportunities for photos with a life-size Shrek. Attendees will also be invited to participate in a group photo with special “We (heart) USCG” signs in front of the well-decorated Union Station at 12:30 pm. Cake will be served
