At 2 p.m. on May 19, the Garde Arts Center will be the venue for the Eastern Connecticut ballet's world premiere of the double feature Ballerina Swan and Carnival of the Animals.
Following the ballet shows, Allegra Kent - author of the book upon which Ballerina Swan is based - will meet with attendees and sign autographs. There will also be a free ice cream social courtesy of Rita's Water Ice. Ticket prices range from $29 to $35.
