New London's Caribbean Night had people dancing on the pier with nonstop music from DJ Leo and Jesus Andujar and his Grupo Sazón. New London Mega Stars, a dance group of kids ages 4 to 14 from Centro De La Comunidad, demonstrated their dancing prowess with choreography by Pamela Carbajal. The group's creator, Leo Navarro, followed that up with dancing lessons to get the crowd into the act.
Local restaurants, Osmino's Pizza and The Brazilian Market on Truman Street, served up hot and spicy caribbean dishes. Boats were encouraged to moor alongside to enjoy the music too. The weather couldn't have been better, either. Here's a look at what you missed in case you couldn't make it.
