1. A blizzard is on its way, with the National Weather Service predicting a chance of snow tonight with a wintry mix on Friday turning to heavy snow on Saturday. 2. School budget discussions continue tonight when the Board of Education’s Finance and Audit Committee meets. This discussion starts at 6 p.m. on the third floor conference room of the Science and Technology Magnet High School.
3. An opening reception for Jill Harrington’s display of paintings will run from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Gallery at Firehouse Square. Stop in to meet the artist and check out some of her work.
