Daily Five: Doll Making, Housing Authority, The End Of Winter?

Five things to know for March 26

1. Whatever slushy snow we got last night might be the last gasp of winter; the extended forecast is all sunshine, showers, and even a few 50-degree highs from here. Today doesn't quite make it, topping out at 48 degrees, but it's a partly sunny day with an overnight low at the freezing point. Sunrise is 6:41 a.m., sunset is 7:07 p.m.

2. Margarita Hernandez-Maxson is offering a doll-making workshop at the Public Library of New London. This is free with all materials available, but pre-registration with the library is required. The activity starts at 5:30 p.m.

3. The New London Housing Authority Board of Commissioners holds their annual meeting today. This takes place at 5 p.m. at the meeting room of the George Washington Carver Apartments at 202 Colman Street.
