2. The 2012 Americana Fest kicks off tonight at Hygienic Art Park. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the first performers take the stage half an hour later. Admission is $7.
3. Plenty of beer is available for sampling tonight at Ocean Beach Park as the New London Rotary Foundation brings the Brewfest to the waterfront. Admission is $25, and proceeds will benefit local charities and Camp Rotary.
