Alice Fitzpatrick, who is retiring as the director of the Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut, gets a gala send-off tonight.
The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut has honored Fitzpatrick as its 63rd Citizen of the Year, and will have a reception starting at 6 p.m. at MGM Grand at Foxwoods Resort Casino. A dinner and presentation will follow at 7 p.m.
