A local Hispanic social service agency will hold a heritage presentation and workshop this weekend in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The presentation will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday at . Héctor González, a Taíno speaker and liaison officer with the United Confederation of Taíno People, will be leading a presentation on pre-Columbian societies in the Americas. The event will include a display of tools used by Taíno Indians as well as a film on indigenous cultures.
