Community Corner

CTVV at Hartford Habitat for Humanity

Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity is a non‐profit organization. However, its core structure is a results-oriented association with a bench mark strategy and a clear vision.  It employs a dedicated group of team players in the business of providing a ROI that benefits not only its recipients, but those who donate time and money as well as the community in which it resides.

For those who work there, this invigorating culture is driven by its President and CEO, Richard G. McGeary, who is no stranger to watching the bottom line. He is a seasoned Corporate Executive with a financial career that includes former CFO for Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company as well as financial management posts with RJR Nabisco, Pitney Bowes and Arthur Anderson & Co. McGeary is a certified
public accountant with a degree in Business from St. Bonaventure University.

Susan Regan, Host of CT Valley Views provides an in depth interview with Mr. McGeary regarding this dynamic organization that invigorates its recipient’s quality of life while inspiring personal dignity by establishing the values of self‐motivation and a strong work ethic.

CT Valley Views is an award winning, independently produced Public Access TV show series sponsored by Windsor Federal Savings and is seen in twenty two towns on Cox/Enfield, Windsor, Simsbury, Nutmeg, West Hartford and Hartford Public Access stations.
