TVCCA has openings for paid volunteer opportunities.
Individuals aged 55 and over are needed to serve 20 hours a week in local pre-schools and public schools. The volunteers will serve children aged between infants through 8-years-old. Supporting them in math, literacy and development.
These individuals will will receive a non-taxable stipend, paid vacation and sick time, paid holidays, monthly training as well as initial training before being placed at a site. Mileage reimbursement and the opportunity to support education in your community.
This is a federally funded program through the Corporation for National and Community Service. Applicants must be income-level eligible and pass a background check. Must enjoy working with children.
