NLAV is holding its second meeting to connect volunteers with community-requested projects. The focus for Thursday's meeting is on identifying existing community projects and connecting individuals willing to volunteer their time.

Time: 7 – 8:30pm
Location: Garde Arts Center – Oasis Room
During the first New London Anti-Violence meeting, many expressed concerns and ideas to work towarda safer New London. NLAV is providing the opportunity to connect to those projects most frequently requested.
For example, members in our community currently need volunteers for:
- Citizen Awareness Walks
- Youth Art Project
- Youth
- Adult Mentoring Program
- Youth Talent Show
Important: Community members who have their own initiatives are encouraged to attend and reach out to potential volunteers.
These projects, and more, will have opportunities for everyone at all levels of interest and availability.
