Saturday, November 19, All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church (located at 19 Jay Street) will be hosting Dr. Larry Davis, Professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of New Haven, and his presentation: Climate Change: the Reality, the Danger and the Opportunity. Building on the Al Gore film "An Inconvienient Truth," Professor Davis (trained by Gore) will discuss the danger of climate change and what we can do about it. He will largely focus on Southeastern Connecticut and how climate change involves those living in the region.
The event begins at 7 pm, but join us for a chili and cornbread dinner starting at 6. The event is free and open to the public. Hope to see you there!
