2012 Connecticut BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics
Your Connecticut Better Business Bureau is now accepting entries for its 2012 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.
The prestigious Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics recognizes a business for its commitment to maintaining an environment which consistently sets exceptionally high standards for behavior in buyer and seller relationships.
The award illuminates the importance of corporate conscience and responsibility in fulfilling the company's obligation to the marketplace by engaging in fair practices, and demonstrating to the business community that adhering to BBB ethical standards is the hallmark of successful, competitive companies.
The public may recommended a business for nomination and all Accredited Businesses and non accredited companies may enter themselves. Entry deadline is Friday, August 24, 2012. All applications are examined for adherence to BBB Standards for Trust prior to being reviewed by a panel of independent judges. A description of the Standards can be found on the Connecticut Better Business Bureau Web site at http://ct.bbb.org/bbb-standards-for-trust/.
Information and entry form for the Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics is available.
The 2012 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics and Connecticut BBB Awards of Excellence will be presented at the 84th Connecticut Better Business Bureau Annual Awards Banquet in November.
