I do have some weaknesses some of which I won't write about here; however, food is definitely on this list.  So if you have a chance, check out the Recovery Room in New London for some fine Italian dining.

With the recent remodel a few years back, owner Jack Cultrera and Chefs Luigi Sferrazza and Chris Darling have certainly done a great service to this region.  We have Dana the manager, and of course there are great bartenders and waitresses.  To name a few: Denise, Patty, Resa, Lorrie, and of course there are waitresses: Laurie, Patty, Kathleen, Jessie, Leeann, and so many others there who provide friendly service and deliver some food that is out of this world.  Try one of the chopped pasta salads and it will please the palette.  

I especially like the Pasta Bolognese but there are wonderful specials each night and the Penne Jack is quite a knockout.  Never mind the pizza which is red or white style and always scrumptious too!  From meat dishes to chicken entrances to seasonal fish items, The Recovery Room menu seems to be a mainstay in New London. 

Never a dull moment but always a pleasure, you just might hear a bit of musical tunes from the bar from yours truly should the crowd be right and drink and food blend nicely!
