Three City Restaurants Part of Connecticut 'Cocktail Tour'
The tour, billed as the largest in New England, will feature Onyx Spirits Company's moonshine in specialized cocktails in restaurants across Connecticut.
The Onyx Spirits Company is taking its Connecticut-made moonshine on the road for the “largest cocktail tour in New England.”
Onyx, which began business in Manchester before relocating to East Hartford, will be hosting a summer-long cocktail tour spanning the Connecticut shoreline. The tour will feature Onyx Moonshine cocktails designed by the resident mixologists of the shoreline’s finest restaurants and bars. It will run until Labor Day weekend.
“We have one hundred restaurants designing one hundred cocktails over one hundred days, for the biggest cocktail crawl to ever to hit the East Coast,” Onyx Spirits Company co-founder Adam von Gootkin said. “This is something unique and exciting for visitors to Connecticut as well as residents, as they enjoy Connecticut’s beaches and seaside charm.”
Participating restaurants stretch from the Rhode Island to the New York border.
Bars and restaurants will continue to be added to the tour throughout the summer. Patrons are invited to take photos of their favorite cocktails and post them to Onyx Spirits Company’s Facebook and Twitter pages at: facebook.com/onyxspirits and http://twitter.com/onyxspirits, the company said.
