Williams School Annual Tug Of War

Classes start off the year with a traditional competition

It's a 30-year tradition: at the beginning of the school year, the Williams School pits classes against each other in a friendly tug of war match.

Wrestling with a double rope on the lawn outside the school, grades seven through 12 competed for bragging rights. The match starts with seventh graders versus eighth graders, with the winner advancing up against the next class. The sophomores were able to beat the juniors, but couldn't stave off the seniors in the final pairing.
