After a few weather related delays the New London Community Orchestra Finally had a chance to wow an audience of about 60 on Sunday June 12 in the Harbour Towers ballroom. The orchestra conducted by Joan Winters was formed this year at the end of February and meets every other Tuesday.
There is a great range of talent and experience represented in the orchestra from older retired members of the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra to members of the Thames Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra like Kevin Mayeda (age 18) and Grace Mayeda (age 14).
