2. Haven’t paid your revised tax bill yet? Today’s the last day to pay a visit to City Hall to cut a check before the interest penalty kicks in.

3. It’s the opening salvo of the school budget process as the Board of Education’s Finance and Audit Committee meets at 6 p.m. tonight at the Science and Technology Magnet High School. One of the agenda items will set the budget parameters for the 2014 fiscal year.
